Do It Yourself French Door Blinds

French door blinds – French doors usually have large windows paned in the center. While windows let in plenty of light, also they remove privacy. Because paned windows are usually a wonder to behold, make curtains of the French door blinds provide privacy without obscuring the windows completely. You will need special rods designed to unite the French doors, no standard curtain rods. Use a light or sheer fabric to leave a lot of light shine in. Measure the height and width of the window of the French door. Cut two pieces of fabric that each measures twice the width of the window height plus 4 inches. If the window is 25 inches by 72 inches, cut two pieces of 50-inch-by-76-inch fabric. Fold the sides of each piece of fabric over a quarter inch and press flat. Fold over another half inch and press, then fix along the edges. Sewing each side along the inner edge.
